You will need to have transport to get to and from your jobsite everyday. Whilst it is not necessary, having your licence and own transport would be a bonus for any employment.  

Cert III Painting & Decorating is a 3 – 4 year nominal apprenticeship.

If you have completed a Cert I in Construction, you maybe eligible for Credit Transfers, you will need to provide a Statement of Attainment before we can consider it.

If you have previous experience with Painting & Decorating, depending on the length of time you have worked you maybe eligible for an RPL in some or most of the course components. This could fast track your apprenticeship. During the phone interview you will be asked what experience you have, and a member of the Painting Apprenticeships team can explain this process more thoroughly.
